We are recruiting motivated and aspiring Commis Chefs for prestigious 4-star and 5-star Hotels in Kos Island, Chalkidiki, and Corfu Island in Greece – Accommodation is included for Free!

As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in a wide range of kitchen tasks, upholding and promoting high standards in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene. Collaborating with a dedicated culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression. Minimum Stay: 4 months
Working Schedule: 6 days a week / 26 days a month / 8h per day

The Process

Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and production of dishes by chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing garnishes as instructed by senior chefs.
- Station Upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stored and sanitized.
- Learning and Growth: Actively learn and develop culinary skills by following instructions and observing senior kitchen staff.
- Stock Management: Assist with receiving, organizing, and managing inventory to ensure all necessary supplies are available.
- Operational Support: Support the kitchen team with general tasks, including cleaning, sanitation, and waste management, to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- +1 year of experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional environment
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and hygiene regulations
- English on a B1 level
- European citizenship or a Greek Resident Permit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm in the kitchen and attention to detail
- Flexibility and resilience in high-volume environments
