    We are recruiting talented and creative Pastry Assistants for prestigious 4-star and 5-star Hotels in Kos Island, Chalkidiki, and Corfu Island in Greece – Accommodation is included for Free!

    *** This is a seasonal position for the Summer of 2026. Placements are starting in March 2026 until October/November 2026! ***

    As a Pastry Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of a wide range of desserts and baked goods, upholding and promoting high standards in food preparation, creativity, and kitchen hygiene. Collaborating with a dedicated culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression.     Minimum Stay: 4 months

    Working Schedule: 6 days a week / 26 days a month / 8h per day

    The Process

Responsibilities

    • Dessert Preparation: Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing and crafting a wide range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
    • Quality Control: Check and guarantee the quality of ingredients and finished products, maintaining high culinary standards.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the pastry and kitchen team to promote an efficient and cohesive work environment.
    • Ingredient Management: Monitor and prepare ingredients for daily production, ensuring all necessary items are available and minimizing waste.
    • Workstation Upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized workstation and equipment, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
    • Support Tasks: Assist with general duties as needed to support the Pastry Chef and the entire kitchen team.

Qualifications

    • +1 year of experience as a Pastry Assistant or similar role in a professional environment
    • Strong knowledge of HACCP and hygiene regulations
    • English on a B1 level
    • European citizenship or a Greek Resident Permit
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Enthusiasm in the kitchen and attention to detail
    • Flexibility and resilience in high-volume environments
