We are recruiting experienced and dedicated Pastry Sous Chefs for prestigious 4-star and 5-star Hotels in Kos Island, Chalkidiki, and Corfu Island in Greece – Accommodation is included for Free!

As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry section, upholding and promoting high standards in pastry and dessert creation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene. Collaborating with a dedicated culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression. Minimum Stay: 4 months
Working Schedule: 6 days a week / 26 days a month / 8h per day

The Process

Responsibilities
- Production Oversight & Plating: Oversee the preparation and plating of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and artistic presentation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the consistent quality of all pastry items, strictly following established recipes and culinary standards.
- Section Management: Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient pastry section, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are readily available for the team.
- Hygiene & Safety: Uphold and enforce strict health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the pastry section, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Team Leadership & Training: Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to supervise and mentor the pastry team, fostering a collaborative and highly-motivated work environment.
- Inventory & Menu Contribution: Assist with inventory management for the pastry section and contribute creative ideas for new menu items and seasonal specials.
Qualifications
- +1 year of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in a professional environment
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and hygiene regulations
- English on a B1 level
- European citizenship or a Greek Resident Permit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and attention to detail
- Flexibility and resilience in high-volume environments
